Edenderry Golf Club Spring Series 2025
From Mon, Jan 13th to Mar 9th, the club will be running it's Spring Competitions.
Weekly Competitions
This will consist of 7 Single Stableford Competitions over 13 holes and will be open to Men, Ladies and Junior members. A team event will be arranged on Week 4. Prizes will be awarded in classes and the number of prizes will depend on entries.
Golden Boot
There will be prize for the top 5 players in the "Golden Boot" with the best score in 4 of the 8 singles competitions.
Team Competition
Edenderry Premiership Golf League.
Rules
- Premiership Golf League runs for 8 weekends and based on Premier League.
- There are 20 teams with Premiership Team Names.
- All Golf Ireland members in the club will be on a team.
- Teams will play matches against other teams generally following the Premiership matches.
- The total of the best golf scores per team will count for each match. [Up to 50 play - 1 score, Up to 80 play - 2 scores, Over 80 play - 3 scores]
- The team with the highest points will get 3 points, and each will get 1 point for a draw.
- Bonus points will also be awarded based on the results of the Premiership match.
- 1 point will be given if the winning team is placed higher than the other in the Premiership Table and 2 points if the lower team wins.
- No points will be added for a draw, if a match is abandoned, or no matches are scheduled that weekend.
- If Competition does not take place (due to weather) the bonus points will be added.
- Scores in Ladies Competitions will be included if they play same number of holes.
- There will be no charge for entry.
- In the event of a tie the winner will be the team with most golf points and then most team points scored.
- Prizes will be given to all winning team members who have played 3 weeks or more during the event.
- The League Table, Fixtures and Results will be posted on the ClubNet App.
Notes:
- Re-entry applies and best score will be counted.
- All members must use ClubNet to book their tee-times. Payment will be taken at time of booking at weekends and manually from Purse for those playing on weekdays.
- The competitions will run from Mon to Sun weekly.
The cost of entry (and re-entry) for the weekly competitions will be €6.
